How to avoid burnout as a business owner

Building and running a business is demanding. It’s not a 9-5 job where you switch off at the end of the working day; you’ve always got ‘work’ on your mind, and when you’re passionate about what you’re doing it can be very easy to overwork yourself. We know it’s important to prioritise our health and fitness, as well as get a mental break from our business, but it’s difficult when you’re at make or break points with your business, launching something new or have a problem that needs to be solved. The business becomes the priority and you get pushed to the backburner to free up your time. ⭐ Adding in fitness and wellness to our schedule can feel overwhelming. ⭐ The early signs of burnout can be hard to recognise and it’s easy to keep pushing on. ⭐ If we’re not at our best, ultimately our business suffers. Burnout can be costly and is a horrible thing to go through, so how do we avoid it and prioritise our health and wellbeing? My guests on this show are Phil Caseley and Shona Thomas of Perform24. I know them very well as I have been coached by Phil for nearly 4 years! Phil and Shona both work with clients, like myself, who are busy entrepreneurs, helping them to prioritise their health alongside their work commitments without feeling overwhelmed. Being business owners themselves, they understand the pressures and demands we face and what works when it comes to avoiding burnout, helping to keep their clients performing at their best. We will cover… 💡 The role of physical fitness and energy management in preventing burnout. 💡 Practical wellness habits you can incorporate to improve your performance. 💡 How you can prioritise your health and find balance when time is lacking. If you’re a business owner who is struggling to find the balance, then this is the show for you! I look forward to having you there.
